Hi everyone. I am a pensioner who has just refound the ability to go uphill! I live in the Yorkshire dales and am surrounded by hills so an e-bike was the obvious solution for old legs.

Welcome to the forum I bought an e-bike 10 weeks ago for the same reason

Hi Mike. Yep, couldn't agree more. Had mine for 9 months now and I can go anywhere!
Welcome Phill,:)
Whereabouts in the Dales? I am near Ingleton, and regularly take the strain with my bike on some unforgiving slopes. What bike do you have?

Hi,
I am just on the Skipton side of Keighley! The furthest I go is Grassington as I ride from home, rather than drive somewhere, and need to have enough battery to get home.. Bike is a Scott e-aspect 910.. and thanks for the contact..

I've currently got a Carrera Subway with a cyclotricity kit on it (work bike), wife's got an Ezee Sprint, daughters got some horrible SLA dutch ladies bike, I'm working on a Tonaro Compy (deciding wether to keep or sell) and also another kit bike (currently for sale on ebay and here). And repairing a few a well!

Wow, I wish I had known about this place last year.. I had an alfine the geared Genesis MTB and was going to try to fit the sun star to it, and but they couldn't get me a small enough chain ring to suit.. 1 so spent a chunk of my redundancy on the Scott (a moment of weakness)
