Hello to everyone.
I found this forum whilst online researching electric bicycle kits and hope to be able to exchange useful information here.
I'm a long time Mountain Biker used to repairing and maintaining my own bikes and now due to a 66 year old dodgy knee I've decided I definitely need a little help on some of the steeper hills I'm still foolish enough to attempt!
My home is 30 miles south of Inverness in the Cairngorms National Park where we have some wonderful off road routes and I would like to carry on riding them for a few more years.
I haven't yet made a final decision as to which kit is best for me so I'll post again soon with my ideas as to what I think I might need in the hopes of getting some much needed advice.
Dave.

Hi Dave welcome to the forum.

Cyclezee,

Your BMC looks neat,i hope that it rides as well as it looks.

Hi Moutainsport,

The BMC still rides very well, it is a quality MTB and has been one of our eZee conversion kit demonstrators for 2 years and my regular runaround.

It is normally fitted with panniers and also used for pulling my Bob Yak trailer.

All it needs right now is a good clean.

Thanks for the welcomes, I've posted again under the heading "Choosing a DIY electric kit"
with a better explanation of what I'm looking for.
Thanks for the link to Cyclezee, I'll have another look at that.
Dave.
