Hi all!

I have liked bicycles ever since I was little and I also like new technology. So... of course I had to try building an e-bike :)

Ordered some stuff from china and converted my cruiser. Have run it for a while and feels like this is one of the best inventions since the wheel :)

Welcome.
That's a nice bike. How long ago did you do the conversion?

Which motor is that Sambal, is it a small Bafang or Q100 ?
Have to admit it is a nice looking bike shame about your fly catcher helmet otherwise with a different one you could have a seriously  dudes cruiser :p.

I don't know? Can you see on the photo? I ordered from Alibaba, it says "Leili Co Ltd" on the paper I got.

Thanks! It's an eyecatcher for sure :) electraglide :) but yes, I would need a more apropriate helmet :) some matte black, classic design.

None of the two makes I mentioned. However the close up pic reveals that the hub spindle needs rotating 180° so that the hub wire exits from the under side and loops back up to prevent moisture/water tracking into the motor and causing shorts and severe rusting of the internal components. The loop acts as a drip and droplets harmlessly drop off.

ohh, that explains why the washer had to be removed and turned 180 degree to get the wheel on like this. Hmm, bad news :( I have fixed the wheel so good now so I don't feel like loosen it right now. Put some electrical tape there to prevent water intake. Hope it will do for a while.
