Been thinking about an e-bike for some time, and the idea finally took flight after I attended an EV meeting a couple of months ago and one of the drivers brought along his Gocycle G2. A fabulous looking folding machine for commuting, it inspired me to look at the market, as it was obvious it wasn't the model for my sort of cycling, but got me drooling for something that was!
I settled on Kalkhoff, and test rode a Pro Connect Impulse 10 and an Agattu Premium Impulse 8 at the Shoreham branch of 50cycles.com and was mightily impressed. The Pro Connect was delivered on Tuesday and I've done about 40 miles so far, between my place and the coast nearby, really enjoying it so far!
