I got a secondhand Eplus Commute as a Christmas gift. Didn’t know what to expect from an e-bike but I was very impressed with how natural it felt to ride.

Now list in a rabbit hole of wondering if I should add a LCD, change the controller or just enjoy the ride.

whatever happens, this site has already been a wealth of information.

Other controllers (KT) give a better ride, but the difference isn't really big enough for the work and expense. I'd leave it as it is. If you want something else, do a conversion with a rear motor, then you can go up to 48v.

Thanks for the reply. I wonder if it is possible to derestrict this bike or if I just enjoy it as my first entry into e-bikes and then buy something faster as and when I feel I’ve outgrown it.
