Hello from my bed in South Wales

Spent my 58 th birthday having a major ankle reconstruction yesterday. Hence my days of standing on the pedals of my trusty Claud Butler tourer are over. Someone mentioned these pedelec jobbies to me and I have been fascinated reading about the various options from my hospital bed. My aim is to be able to get back on my bike by xmas. I have a few queries which I'm hoping someone on the forum can answer. Great forum by the way. I already feel a lot more clued up.
