Well new to this modern stuff, but not to being a 2 wheeler. On the road, the hills since 1995.

But a few health issues now, and not got the range I used to have, so made the decision to GO ELECTRIC !!

About to place a deposit on a Scott Axis eRide Evo, which after much deliberation appears right for me.
I originally saw myself as needing an AM horsing machine, but sense and logic dictates I'l likely only shop, or trek across the Scottish countryside, on trails and paths, but prefer a sus 29er so here we are.

So hi to everyone. Andy's the name, bikes are the game.
And Ill leave the pros and cons for later threads. Just a warm hullo to y-all.

Welcome to the forum. Any ebike is better than no ebike so you won't be disappointed.

In your future travels, I wish good luck to you and all who sail in you - all 10,000 species and 39 trillion beings. Unfortunately, I don't have enough time to read out all their names, but they know who they are. Please pass on my best wishes to them, as only the ones in your eyes will get a chance to see this and I'm not sure whether they can read or not.

Welcome, AndyBike.
That Scott is an interesting one - I've never noticed it before. It's full-on mix of mountain bike and city slicker:
- really good full suspension setup, but also
- pannier rack, kickstand, mudguards & lights

I quite like it. A proper 'do-anything' bike.

AM stands for 'All Mountain'
Look towards an Ibis and that ilk. Thought judging from your pic maybe a zimmer would be more appropriate :p
