Hi, welcome to the forum.
You won't find that much good said about Swytch kits here (overmarketed and underperforming) but they certainly have their place to get people into ebike conversions.

I certainly agree with the overmarketing however my initial impressions of the kit fitted to a second hand bike I have just bought have been very positive apart from the problem of a two second loss of power after doing about 10 miles.

Welcome to e-bikes.. Afaik Swytch use a reliable brand of motor, and a solid and simple control system which will allow you to add a generic quality battery if required ( seems like you may need if yours is the other new swytch thread??) and if required there is little proprietary about the systems beyond labeling/branding and perhaps connection plug/sockets so spares/repairs shouldnt be an issue.

So Far from the worst ebike option if not the optimal solution vfm wise. But be prepared for the occasional eyebrow rise and pursed lip look from cheap gits like me 'in the know' but unaware your a 2nd hand buyer if you display any prominent branding ;)
