Hello, I have been looking at a lot of the kits available and found this site as it listed a cube stereo that had been converted.
I have a cube stereo 160 carbon frame 2013. Im looking for help and advice for what kit is the best compromise.

What do you want to do with it?

There's all sorts of complications with a bike like that due to the bottom bracket type and size. Unless you have really good DIY skills, it would be better to find another donor bike with conventional 68mm BB.

It might be an excellent bike, but it's not really suited to that style of riding. It's very inefficient. It's designed for off-road riding. I'd keep it as it is and get a more suitable donor bike for conversion. I made a really nice one out of a bike I rescued from a skip - full suspension, hydraulic brakes, 60 mile range and could climb anything with a 100kg rider. I did 1000 miles on it in a month. the idea was to prove that you din't need an expensive bike as a donor. Nothing went wrong or needed adjusting during those 1000 miles. I didn't even clean it.

So get a bike from a skip and spend 600 quid on it, but dont convert a comfortable light bike that I like a lot and already have?

That's right. As I said, unless you have good DIY skills, it's a no go.

Here's one I did that gives you some idea of what's involved; however, you have three additional problems to solve: 1. Insufficient space to mount the battery in the triangle; 2. The chainwheel is too small for an electric bike and it looks like there's no room for a bigger one; 3. Your cables are routed under the BB, where there won't be sufficient room.
