What do you want to do with it?Hello, I have been looking at a lot of the kits available and found this site as it listed a cube stereo that had been converted.
I have a cube stereo 160 carbon frame 2013. Im looking for help and advice for what kit is the best compromise.
What do you want to do with it?
There's all sorts of complications with a bike like that due to the bottom bracket type and size. Unless you have really good DIY skills, it would be better to find another donor bike with conventional 68mm BB.

perhaps rear electric hub rather than mid drive?
I dont want to sell an excellent bike to get something thats not as good to convert that I wont like or be comfortable on. My Diy is good, it has to be I own an Land Rover Defender
It might be an excellent bike, but it's not really suited to that style of riding. It's very inefficient. It's designed for off-road riding. I'd keep it as it is and get a more suitable donor bike for conversion. I made a really nice one out of a bike I rescued from a skip - full suspension, hydraulic brakes, 60 mile range and could climb anything with a 100kg rider. I did 1000 miles on it in a month. the idea was to prove that you din't need an expensive bike as a donor. Nothing went wrong or needed adjusting during those 1000 miles. I didn't even clean it.mostly fun. on road or paved surfaces. some trail.
I want the electric conversion to assist in the wind. its heavy here as coastal.
That's right. As I said, unless you have good DIY skills, it's a no go.So get a bike from a skip and spend 600 quid on it, but dont convert a comfortable light bike that I like a lot and already have?
