Heinzmann older type rear wheel kit. On 26 inch non disc wheel with 9 speed freewheel fitted. Motor is marked 870-00, Max 53Nm, Max 33A, 200w. Charger 3A fan cooled, throttle, Atomic Cell 36v 9Ah battery and 33A Heinzmann controller. I fitted a Swalbe Marathon Plus tyre.
The battery was never discharged fully in my ownership and has been topped up every month.
I bought this kit from E bay for £250 fully working about 18 months ago and used it for about 300 miles.
Unfortunately the controller has packed in. Those more knowledgeable will probably be able to fit a alternative controller. The battery and charger may also be of interest.
These motors have legendary torque for their legal status.
Is anybody interested at £80 collected from Winlaton Mill ?. Possible delivery on the Tyne Valley, Newcastle-Morpeth, Newcastle-Berwick, Newcastle-York and Newcastle-Milddlesbrough rail lines for rail fare.
