,
I have a Heinzmann classic retrofit on my electric trike. It is my only form of transport and with the whole Covid issue I need to extend the range so am looking for a new battery but I'm not sure what my choices are. I'm thinking that I can keep the current battery and if I need to go further put the new one in the basket to plug in once I've drained the first. The times I don't use it when I go out I can plug in the new one to keep the charge. At some point, when I can get someone to do some work on the trike I will probably swap batteries. Does that sound achievable?
My current battery has the following details on a sticker:
AKKU Li-ion 37V/9ah
BMZ batteries
1054P
BM 18650Z3
I'm hoping that means more to you than me! How do I tell what is compatible?
