First time post... I joined the Forum just before the host application was atttacked and a lot of us subsequently got an e-mail from the "Webmaster" about a governmant protest plan.
About 2 weeks later I had an e-mail from "Paypal" saying my account was expiring and I had to update its details - please click here. Since I don't have a paypal account I deleted it. But since then I have had Phishing requests from "Llyods" , "Halifax", and "Santander" telling me I have money waiting to be paid in, please click here to confirm your account status.
Each one has been sent to the fraud dept at my bank, and I never clicked on any links, and I also ran an immediate virus scan.
I am not saying that this is due to the attack on the site host, but in years of intenet use I have not been phished until after that goverment protest e-mail.
Has anyone else had a similar experience recently?
