Firstly I thought Rio did a wonderful job under difficult circumstances and a low budget.
Us Brits in the past had a tendency to fail at the 11th hour(football penalties) but somehow we have a much more confident and professional attitude to winning,such that the Italians accused us of over funding our cyclists.
For me the highlight was the goalkeeper of the GB hockey girls,she didn't win the game against the Dutch but sure stopped the Brits losing it.
Well done our Olympians,may even persuade me to do the lottery as a donation.
Am looking forward to emailing my Chinese friends with a list of the medal table,hehe.
