I was wondering whether anyone can offer advice on what bike might suit me best? I'll soon (finally!) Be moving out of London and I cannot wait to get back on a mountain bike.
I'm looking to spend less than £2500 on a hard tail that's good for commuting (7 miles each way, the way back is entirely uphill), going on light trails (e.g. up to blue) and for days out riding along paths with my partner. I'm concerned that some of the entry level bikes I've been looking at won't be suitable for trails or rougher terrain so was hoping to get some advice.
So far it looks like either the specialized tero turbo 3.0 or haibike alltrack 5 might suit well. I like the added security and app features from the tero turbo, but the haibike seems to be better suited for off-road. Is that right?
I'm in my mid 30's so won't be doing any crazy jumps (yet!). I'm 5"5 so will probably need a medium frame
