After 60 miles with around 90% off road thought I,d post early thoughts on bike.
Good Points
Amazing climbing ability. Think bike is actually helping my technique. Managed to clean a long climb I,ve never done before.
Range is good but using in Pyrenees has pushed it to limit.Has coped well with long steep climbs. Lowest I,ve managed is 23 miles, but considering height gain this is still quite amazing.
Reliability wise bike has been perfect so far. ( early issue jumping gear sorted by dealer, stiff chain..)
Power delivery from yam set up is as near perfect as I could imagine. Heard rumours about traction issues with power starting once pedal movement sensed. Not a problem. I prefer it this way. Recovery after a stop on steep slope is simply not an issue.
Rarely use max setting, Standard more than adequate. Used eco a little, never use eco plus. I,m 105 kg and have not found a hill yet requiring max.. I,m climbing at at least double the speed to my normal rate. On long smooth steep climbs probably 3 times quicker.
On home run on road I do like power switching off at 15.5, think this is cleverly done tho. Power seems to fade, at first unnoticed but then you suddenly think bike feels sluggish. Glance at speedo soon answers why. If I,m feeling strong , keep working away. If tiring let speed drop off to 14 or so and the help returns, extremely smoothly . Very impressive. No jerking or feeling of power on and off around max speed.( powered) Bike is surprisingly efficient off power.( def better than my full sus ) Maintaing speed without power is excellent. ( but it is a hardtail with susp lock on front) ( running 40 psi in tyres)
Display unit easy to use and everything required on it.
Recharging is quicker than expected. 3 hrs from 20% to full.
Bad points
Battery rattles quite disturbingly but simple cure of Velcro strap around it and frame. Should I have to do this on a £2k bike ? Perhaps not ??
I didn't like saddle, changed for great big comfy one..Extra weight insignificant on ebike ?
Have a vibration on back brake only under heavy loading. Perhaps contamination on disc , cant see anything. Checking out with dealer when home.
Really would like a setting between eco and standard. Seems a massive jump in assistance. To me it seems there are 2 light settings and two very helpful ones..( but this must be subjective) I,d have thought with 4 to choose from I,d find a perfect one. Just beginning to think standard too helpful, eco not enough? ( but this is being very picky) Might even be progamable ? Anybody know?
Verdict
Best , most enjoyable bike I,ve ever owned. Way more capable than expected. Probably best purchase I,ve ever made. Simply love the bike. The bad points are minor blemishes on a fantastic product. If I had bike stolen I,d go out and buy exactly same bike again. Couldn't recommend it higher.

Just a quick update.
Approaching 300 miles , had bike about 4 weeks.
Front disc has settled down, must have been contamination.
Rear tyre just about worn out, will get another week or two out of it..Thinking about tubeless.Front fine. Don't like presto valves..changing to Schrader.
Minor niggles...
A) knocked display off a couple of times...could be more firmly attached .
B) The recharge plug is small and fiddly. The Bosch system uses a much larger more robust type.Mine fine at moment but 2 years down line ??
C) Having problems attaching trailer, hardly a fault , the frame is too large to accept clamp.

Apart from these minor issues bike is performing perfectly..

Cant really fault any issue. Climbing ability is superb, range excellent. Thought I,d need 500wh battery..400 proving more than adequate.. Amazing taking my not inconsiderable weight into account.
