Anyone caught using a mechanical horse is whipped and sacrificed to the harvest god.
Guernsey's law was always the same as our 1983 EAPC law, 200 watts and 15 mph assist limit, throttles permitted, since the States had approved the same regulation.

The question now is whether they've adopted our amendment of April 6th 2015 yet, or are likely to. Best ask the Environment Department who are responsible for transport in Guernsey.

It seems that ebikes are well catered for on the Island.

From the Rates section in Sarnia Cycle Hire it appears that it is similar to UK law as they provide Raleigh/Powabyke E-Bikes with twist and go throttles but some coastal paths are for walkers only:
