Gtech whistle

Featured Replies

My new gtech sport has started emitting whistle when I pedal, sounds like it coming from crank or carbon fibre belt.any ideas?remember it's a family forum :-)

I may be barking up the wrong tree but one job I had was building machines that ran with gates belts.

If the belt was misaligned or the wrong tension it would whine, buzz or hum.

So that where I'd look first.

One question I have is: where do you get parts from, or your Gtech bike serviced, as they only seem to sell online. Do they have spare parts available to order, and partnership with local shops?
