I've been lurking here for ages and now feel I've picked up enough about ebiking to think about joining in the conversation.
Followed Jerry Simon's adventures with the Tongxin kit and thanks to those threads I bought a used one off eBay with the hope of fitting on a Raleigh 20 (funds can't stretch to a brompton I'm afraid). It's in a 700c wheel ATM so needs relacing into a 20 inch rim as a first job, then I'm wondering if a rewind is possible to change it from 190rpm to say around 260rpm...
But I'm getting ahead if myself.
