The title says it all, anyone familiar with the Blue mountains, if so, it's a great place to ride, Mostly National Park

I currently have a bicycle which I ride very little due to a dodgy knee, but I ride my TTR250 trail bike as much as possible, but due to the "Mostly National Park" bit I'm not allowed in there, but bicycles and E-Bikes are allowed

Anyway Here's my cunning plan ! Buy a second hand bike, got one in my sites ATM but it needs a new battery but it's cheap, around $500 au, it's a eZeeBike Sprint in black and in fairly good shape as far as I can tell, anyway more on that later if I buy that one.

I need to get used to the technology and will eventually build my own from scratch, frame and all, should be a fun and interesting project

Here's a shot of some local landscape and the Megalong Vally in the middle distance

And here's one with my Dirt bike

Lots of places to ride as you can see

Anyway, glad I found this place and hope to frequent with questions and maybe a few answers as well

Cheers

How lucky you are to live where you do.

I spent 4 days in the Blue Mountains just after Christmas last year and am sorely tempted to set up a Woosh agency there. Some of the hills are real killers and would be a challenge for any bike, even E bikes with good motors, but it would be a joy to ride around that area generally, especially in the summer.
I even found the perfect location for renting out and selling E bikes. It was at the bottom of the main road in Leura, on the left, after the French restaurant (useful for lunch!) and next to the fire station (useful for those bush break outs...)
A beautiful 1900s bungalow in large tangled garden with commercial use. Is is still available I wonder? Know anyone who might want to run it with me?

I grew up on a farm opposite the Blue Mountains but they were the ones in another country...

The happy highways where I went and cannot come again.”

Blue hills of yet another country.

Ah...a shot every tourist takes away with them, even I take shots of this area on a fairly regular basis, not in the summer though due to the haze in the air as in this photo

Here's a better photo for you to jog your memory

I know the property you are interested in, sold for a mere $1,200,000 au
Lovely old place in a killer spot, commercial rents in that part of the mountains and Katoomba are massive.

BTW, Autumn, Winter and Spring are much better times to visit due to global warming, I just doesn't get as cold here now, when out on the Trailbike, from now till the end of November are the best times
I don't ride in Summer, unless it's an unusual cool day

Cheers
