Grants for MS sufferers.

Don't know if it is generally known, but sufferers of MS can obtain a grant from their local society if they can supply supporting evidence from a physio that it will help with their condition.
Here in Penrith we have supplied a bike to an MS sufferer and she has posted on here previously on how much it has helped her.
We would love to see this in all areas of the country and would encourage other sellers to pursue this.

Getting my bike has been the best thing I've done recently, and I could not have done it without the grant from Barnsley MS Society.
This forum helped me choose the bike and the bike shop in Penrith were great. And here is a picture of me on said bike

...meant to say...I don't think it shows that I am an MS sufferer!
It doesn't! I think that's why e-bikes are so useful in our society, for people with severe disabilities who can travel around much easier and get exercise too. Also for the elderly and unfit..and even people with phobias etc who find it difficult to get out. So many benefits really across a wide area of society..for some people it can be literally life changing and very empowering having an e-bike.

It's just a pity the government doesn't acknowledge this and help make e-bikes more accessible and affordable for these types of people. Not to mention the benefits to reducing pollution and road traffic etc.. it would seem to make perfect sense for them to get behind e-bikes with policy and support.
