In excellent condition, both batteries hold their full charge when not used between the 3 month refresh charging interval.
ALUMINIUM FRAME, Small Size, 445mm from center of crank to top of saddle down tube.Accommodates 5ft+ to 6ft.
SANYO 24V, Motor located in front hub.
SANYO BATTERIES. Ni Mh, 9000mAh, 2 located either side of pannier rack and hidden by Giant Pannier.
GEARS, SHIMANO NEXUS 7speed.
SUSPENSION, front forks and saddle.
DUTCH Style rear wheel lock.LIGHTS front + rear.
CONTROLS on handlebar, Switch for left or right battery, Switch for ECO use, NORMAL use, Sport for fast use.

Hi Ron,
Could not reply before as out of the country.
I would say yes to your hip query as I have 1 replacement hip and a knee and it only gives a twinge to my knee when first starting, this is due to the small frame as I use an L size Giant Lafree.
If you are still in the market for a bike come over and the lady can test it, I am situated in a quiet cul-de-sac with a steep hill.
