Giant Lafree

This is my third - and possibly last attempt to place a thread..

I have recently bought two Giant Lafree bikes - about 2005 for my wife and myself. I need to source replacement brake sensor cables and a replacement black front mudguard.

Does anyone know of a possible source for me ? We live in the North of Scotland

I've recently bought a couple of bikes from Highland bikes in Inverness, they are Giant agents and may be able to help

Thank you Dave, I appreciate your encouragement . Sadly, I have already spoken with the Giant spares people for the UK who say that Giant themselves no longer support these Lafree bikes as they are too old !!

I have also emailed the UK support team for Tektro brakes asking for their help , but understandably at the moment, their response is that they are overwhelmed with work and it may take some time before they can come back to me ..

Any other suggestions for possible suppliers of the parts would be very much appreciated

By the way , if you are near Inverness - we are near Thurso - maybe we could start a Highland ebike group ?????

Your other two posts are visible and may get more views as not everyone seems to look at the introduce yourself section.
If you could add photos of your bikes to one of them and if possible of the parts you need I'm sure someone more knowledgable than me will come up with a solution.
I'm 35 miles south of Inverness so a good bit away.

Some pics are best Tom so we can see the parts you need to try and match them or find something close.
For instance the brake cable sensor replacement is to vague, is it the sensors or inner / outer cable ?

Tom, your post is puzzling me, a 2005 Lafree didn't have brake sensors or a black front mudguard.

A photo of one of them will help to identify it correctly.
