I am about to buy an ebike to commute to work and to get my son to nursery. I will have a rear bike seat on pannier rack.
My local shop has a Gazelle Vento on offer and a Cube Town Hybrid, at basically the same price. Only difference really is where the battery is positioned. Rear rack for the Vento and seat tube for the Cube. I prefer the Vento, however I'm concerned that with a child seat on top the bikes manoeuvring and balance will be tricky, esp when getting going / walking the bike. Do people have experience of cycling with a child on a rear seat on top of a rear rack battery? Am i better to go for the Cube and a seat post battery?
