front basket for CARRERA Crosspath E 18

I want to find a (preferably) stem mounted front basket but am having no luck - even my old handlebar mounted one wont fit because the handlebars on the CARRERA Crosspath E 18 are too thick for the mounting. I realise it is deeply uncool to have a front basket but its what I need. Any suggestions out there please?

The baskets with the square plates (link below) allow you to drill to fit the bracket to basket. I did that on my bike, albeit a different brand, Powacycle. Amazon also sell them. Search posts on baskets and you should see other comments too.
