Hi I’m new here having come across this site whilst Googling how to de-restrict the throttle on the 2nd hand Freego Regency that I purchased today. My first Ebike (an older iZip model) is throttle only and although I quite like the pedal assist on the Freego, due to having severe disc, hip and leg pain, I do already miss the ability to go throttle only. I found a thread in here which includes a photo showing some grey wires that just need clipping together. I’ve opened the compartment under the battery but mine doesn’t appear to have any grey wires at all. I would be really grateful if anyone could assist me further with this issue please. Thanks in advance, Joanne :)

All pedelecs produced after 2016 are not permitted a full throttle without pedal assist, what is allowed though is the use of a throttle once you have rotated the cranks and will vary from bike to bike.
Usually throttle assist parameter change are only enabled via the LCD display and any hidden settings there may be.
Connecting or disconnecting controller paired wires often only affect speed restriction.
