Hi,
I’ve just got a Freego eagle which works fine on pedal assistance but when I try and use the twist and go it put the control panel off and I have to turn the key off and back on. I have charged the battery left it over night and have 41v when testing in the morning so don’t think it’s the battery. Any help will be much appreciated. thanks

If the panel goes off, it's because the battery has cut-off. Any other problem leaves it switched on because it gets its power directly from the battery, so nothing can interfere with it. 41v is a bit on the low side. It would normally be around 41.5v after a rest from charging and 42v hot off the charger.

It would be better to measure the battery voltage immediately after it cuts off to get an idea of its condition.

the battery stays at 40volts once it cuts out ?

Ideally you need to wire a watt meter or a voltage meter in line to see what occurs with the voltage when the twist and go is used, I expect one would see the voltage collapse then the system shuts off. If so then the battery is passed it's best and simply can't take the high current asked.
