There are lots of us Fred, I'm 72, and I know of members up to 79 years old.

The age profile of the forum shows that the overwhelming majority of members are over 50, and probably around half in their retirement years.

So you've found your way home. :D

Hi Fred. I'm a mere youngster at 48. Like tgame, I'm eagerly awaiting MY Kalkhoff Agattu. I do hope we don't end up having to fight each other if stock is limited......some of these older e-bikers are complete tearaways and rather frightening with those hoodies they wear to guard their anonymity as they terrorise young people like me

OK tgame, you win. I had a call saying that a gang of e-bikers, complete with death's head wings, bovver boots and leather jackets were roughing up the Kalkhoff man. I just knew it was you....... I'll wait for my bike. In fact, you can have mine too....

Yeah - they drove in on electric buggies fitted with sythes on the wheels like Boadicea. Painted with wode of course.

Don't take any notice of this lot Fred.

They calm down once the nurse has been round with the tablets trolley.

OAP Appreciation

They may be 'getting on' but the're a good humoured lot and very very knowledgeable.

It's Flecc and Co's enthusiasm that inspired me to get out on my bike and reap the benefits of the cycling experience that we all enjoy on this forum.

Only joking

I was only joking Kenny. I have had a lot of useful advice from here. Although early afternoon is always quite difficult to get a response as most members appear to be having their afternoon nap.....:D sorry, I can't help myself.

Oops - Didn't mean to sound so serious Citrus - It's the banter as much as anything that makes this such a great forum.

Nap? This 72 year old has just come in from a 15 miles ride covering a 700 foot elevation and with a 1 in 5 at at one point. This morning's 14 miles was a touch easier, just a 600 foot climb in it.
