Hello everyone.
Just thought I get a post up here.
I'm currently converting an old zoom MTB with front motor hub but got stuck on forks. I've learnt that suspension forks are not ideal and think I've found a ridged set coming off eBay which look on paper to fit.
25.4mm thread with 175 steerer already cut.
Worth a put at the bargain price. Finding a set with disc fitting was not possible? Guess it's an old bike.

Problem was grinding the dropout holes surface caused wheel to be 3mm off centre. This effects break pads which needed packing and I didn't think that was a good idea. Asking for trouble.
It's a front wheel yose 250w kit I have.
If forks don't fit I'll come back and ask for advice.
Seems they are hard to buy that size?
22mm handle bar fitting which is standard.

The mess I abandoned. Just as well!
Terrible bodge but I'm learning as I go using what I have like this old bike I've had for years.

I've also put on 26x135 tyres? I had them already bought in lockdown, and i will be on tow path and road mostly going to work, so will they be ok?
Min was 150 for wheel rim but I went with what I had already although a tad smaller than recommend.

Thanks

Hi.
Thanks for offering.
My tube size on steerer is 25.4mm. Should have a fork set arriving tomorrow that will fit...I hope..
If not I'll be here asking questions.
Think I'm stuck with that size as bearings fit frame.
