I'm selling this Woosh Sport CD because for what I want the range isn't really far enough in the hilly country where I live. I bought it in the middle of June but because there was a problem with it at first which meant it had to back to be fixed I only started to use it about three weeks ago. It turned out to be a faulty battery in the end, so it has a brand new one which they sent last week and which has been charged just once by me. The new black kind which looks much nicer.

The bike is pretty much as new and has only done 178 miles.

I've fitted a pump to it and I'll throw that in, as well as some mudguards and stays I bought from Woosh which I didn't get around to fitting.

I've got the box so it can be shipped for around the £30 I think.

Cost for the bike was £775 and I will lose out of course. So £650 plus post for what is basically a new bike with ten months left on the transferable warranty.

I'm getting this on the Woosh site second hand bikes page. But it hasn't been put up yet.

Some interest here but no firm offers....

denwyn, it's a good bike, pick it up at a good price before someone else does. It'll be gone within a couple of weeks. As member of the forum, you're assured of the best level of support.

I did look at this, and had previously thought of the road version of it, but all the negative comments on Woosh crank drive gear change comments made me think again. I must admit its a nice looking bike though..

The gear change stuff is overdone. I posted here several times that I had no problem changing with it, but you just had to do it in advance on a steep hill or you'd stop before you had completed the change. On less steep hills you just either stop pedaling for a moment until the motor stops or touch the brake lever to stop it.

I prefer to go up and down the gears all the time but I'm not sure any crank drive will do that perfectly. The Kalkoff has a Nexus 8 and it hasn't got this year's clever software to cut the motor either. So changes with it have to be done with a little care too.

How many of the negative comments came from people who had ridden a Woosh CD? I put a report on about my hill climb challenge with my wife's Santana CD. I mentioned it clunking when changing down when going uphill but I also mentioned that I was deliberately in too high a gear just to see what would happen.
If you are in the correct gear on time you won't have much trouble. It's trying to change down when in too high a gear that the bike is struggling which causes the problem.

It's up on the Woosh S/H page now with make an offer.

I can't change the original post now but it's reduced to £625. So £150 off the new price for a month old bike with a brand new battery sent last week and charged just once. The bike is one month old and has over ten months transferable warranty.

I can post it for as little as £15.

The Santana CD that was on the second hand page above yours was private sale, sold last week for £600, a year old and out of warranty but in pristine condition and very low mileage. Ebay currently has one pink Woosh Angel, was bought 4 years ago for £299, selling for £235. I must say Woosh second hand hold their value well.

I have the box and can post for around the £15 mark.

£625 is £150 off and I'm including a fitted pump, and unfitted Sirocco CD mudguards which is basically the same bike so will fit.
