I have a surplus Heinzmann 36V 500 Watt ( peak ) 38Nm geared motor that I have built in built in to a Mavic T217 SUP 700C rim with brand new Hutchison Nitro 28mm tyre.
This is the “screw on “ type hub and will accept a 7 speed free wheel ( supplied )
It comes with a twist grip throttle, used but in VGC , 36 volt NiCad battery pack with integral control unit,battery charger and all the required connection cables. The battery charges and will run the motor for approx 10km on the flat with minimal pedal assistance and should be regarded as at “end of life”.
Users of Heinzmann kits with 36V NiCd battery technology, upgrading to Li-Ion batteries is possible without changes to existing drive system.
