Hi there, I have for sale a 24v battery and charger built by Paul at em3ev. I got the battery with hopes for building up a 24v electric bike but It's been a while now and I'm not getting round to it.

In the mean time the battery has had light use with a 24v electric saw. I would guess it's had about 30 charge cycles max since I've had it.

Full spec below

voltage - 24v
capacity - 22 amp hour
weight - approx 1kg (I will double check this)
price new - £413
Cells - a123

I'd like to ask for £300 for it but I'm open to offers. Please get in touch if you would like any more info.

All the best

You need to double check because it doesn't add up.

24v 22Ah is 528 watt-hours. A123 is somewhere around 100 watt-hours per kg, so the battery would weigh around 5kg, not 1kg.

Alternatively, a 1kg 24v battery could only be around 5Ah, not 22Ah.

Hi there, thanks for your reply. You're right, sorry I posted this ad while not having the battery to hand. I've weighed it and its 3.8kg.

Dimensions are 158 by 78 by 147mm

Please get in touch if you have any more questions. Though I am not an expert - I bought this battery through a friend who recommended it so there may be some things I don't know. However I can get in touch with him and ask.

Here are some pictures also.

Cheers

That's good because 24v LiFePO4 chargers are a different voltage to normal Li-ion batteries (29.2v vs 29.4v), though you could use a 29.4v one without any problems.
