Hi fellers,

I wanted to say a huge thanks for your advice re: my posting on the first of November - "Newby king of the Newbys" - Wouldn't you just know it? Within a few days of posting my computer went down and I haven't been able to say thanks for two weeks. To cut a short story long it turned out to be router trouble and I was finally reunited with Outlook Express one hour ago. AND THEN...... Three hundred and four emails came raining down on to my computer so this is the first chance I have had to do it....

Anyhow, after a lot of thought I sent for a "City Runner". Not because I know anything about these things but because I kind of liked the look of it. After a bit of a struggle I got it out of the box and tried to work out how the pedals went on yesterday. (What am I going to do with all this packaging???)

Anyhow, thanks again. I am going to try it this afternoon. If you never hear from me again it will be because I did not make it back.

While I'm happy that you are happy Les, I have not got a clue as to what kind of bike a "City Runner" is. If it was one recommended by Scatty.....Oh dear

Sorry Paul I only just picked up on this. I managed to do three trips on the bike before the hard weather came and I passed over the river Cole every time. Small world! I think I am taming the bike - slowly. What do you ride?

I don't know whether I am using the site right yet. I have already typed this somewhere else. Anyhow, I hope you get to see this. I made three exploratory trips on the bike before the hard weather came and all of them took me across the river Cole. Small world! What do you ride?

I ride an ezee torq,but i am travelling by car untill the forecast is dry and above 8 celcius.
