Thanks for the heads up eTim, I have checked my iMac and not detected anything using the link you provided.

I am running Sophos AV which never seems to find any issues.

Thanks, Tim, I checked mine last week when it was reported on the BBC website. I too run Sophos which is free.

As you can see from this history of Mac malware, it is a slowly growing issue, but nothing like it is for Windows, it's no surprise that you don't find anything, but it's best to be safe than sorry:
