Why did you shortlist those two in particular? Personally I'd prefer the Volt for looks and capability, but they both seem to me to be very worthy options. It depends what you're intending to do with the bike as to which makes the better choice.

Is your purchase intended for cycling old railway routes around Blackpool?

If you’re near Blackpool you should consider MiRider. Their customer service is second to none in my experience. I still have mine that I’m sort of reluctant to let go almost 2 months since buying a full size.

I have a Volt Metro and it has been brilliant. I live in a very hilly area and, with some input from myself, it assists me up the steepest of hills. It is a solid bike but this helps when cycling on windy days as it keeps the bike feeling balanced and stable. I have found Volt to provide good Customer Service and we are fortunate to have a dealer here on the IOW.

I have no experience of a Roodog Bliss (just the sister ebikes - Striker and Avatar). However we have two Volt Metros and they are solid, reliable ebikes that easily cope with cycle paths. We got the bigger batteries. They also have a lever- not a throttle - that will take you up through the assistance settings without having to press the buttons. They are quite heavy ebikes - but they do feel very stable. Another company that provides really good after sales service.
