tiny trading company, ugly bike, messy wiring, forgettable specs.
what's so good that you have to tell us about it?

I don't get it, we've already got the kudos secret - a much better finished article.
who is going to buy just one (that looks like a prototype) from a trading company in China (outrider do little more than buy & sell)?

36 volt 350 watt motor isn't often seen on a small folder, so I think that makes it distinctive. With that and those small wheels it should be a champion climber with pedalling effort just an option. The Secret is listed as 220 watt.

I admire your loyalty you show to Woosh products but I think the accusations you have applied to Outrider could also apply to Woosh.

It is not directly comparable to to bike mentioned in the OP the clue is in the title of the post.

Not much new if you are referring to 36V 250W 8-Fun motor.
Woosh have the Zephyr with 36V 8AH full sus bike for a couple of years. The Zephyr CD has crank drive, the Zephyr CDN has crank drive + Nexus-3.
If you are looking for interesting new bikes, Woosh will have a few more this year, just talk to Hatti.

25kg. Ouch!
Weight - or lack of it - is not a strong point of R&M bikes.

Having been impressed with the rear suspension on Croxden's Delite and liking my 20" wheel AVE, I would like to try the portly Kendu.

I've been thinking about crank-drives with a Nuvinci. I have this setup on one of my 500W crank-drives, which works fairly well, but I have to ask what's the point on a 250w system. The problem with crank-drives is the bad gear-changing, which is solved by adding the 3kg Nuvinci, but if you're going to add 3kg, why not add a hub-motor, then you can chuck the crank-drive and save 4kg? Problem solved!

It can be spec'd for a variety of markets 251W-350W.

Not bad for a cheap run a round $400 -$500 even allows a margin for delivery against the Woosh @ $1200

Appears they are from the same source - does that make the Woosh ugly?
it's the fire engine red paint of the outrider. The Zephyr CDN is pretty plain but the next two folders (Gallego and Metro) get logo and go faster stripes.

You know it has to be 250W motor.
Let's take out the VAT, import duty and Paypal exchange and delivery charges: the Woosh Zephyr CDN would then cost around $800 ex-shipping cost to someone who lives on the Isle of Man but it has a crank drive, LCD and Nexus hub gear against 8-Fun hub, LED display and derailleur.

your reasoning is of course sound but you can't reason with tastes. There is something compelling about having the motor pulling on the chain - making you feel you ride a bike, not a motobike. The power isn't huge but flexible and appropriate.

LED display ensures current compliance where as LCD does not so user does not have to worry about the laws.

After riding RobF's AVE MH7 I thought I would look up R&M's Kendu but saw the Birdy in the sale at OnBike. I rode this some months ago and was greatly impressed with it, rode the hills better than I remember my Gary Fisher did and far better ride than my Delite. So I bought it. I know I have let the side down by having a non powered bike but this bike can be taken to flatter areas via the smallest car boot and enable the true joy of bike riding.
Mind, the Delite does the hills better and I have a lot of those.

I am not convinced in the same way that I am not convinced that BPM motors are totally legal. If you know your motor won't cut out completely at 26kph - I think you should worry a little.
