Hi I have been looking it the Kalkhoff range of bikes
The only thing that they don't have is a throttle which I really want on a bike can one be fitted to it?
Cheers Davie

You can fit a throttle to any bike, but on some bikes, like Kalkhoffs, you can't make it work. The controller doesn't have any sort of input for one.

You might hear of an optional throttle for certain Kalkhoff models, but it's not what you are looking for. It's just a "walk-alongside" one for use when walking a too-steep-to-pedal hill, and restricted to under 4mph. That cannot be altered, confirming what d8veh has advised.

DavieH -

Yes by all means try one. I did, and was highly impressed by the build and general quality - but a disability (one leg) means that I really need a throttle, and I just couldn't get on with the Kalkhoff. Shame.

I settled for a Wisper 905, but if Kalkhoff ever DO produce a throttle version, I'll be switching.
