Hi, I have had my fiido D2 for 7 Months now, I've used it every day for work in London and it saves me getting on the underground, saves me a lot of money and time. Recently the cable inside the throttle which has 3 wires connected to a little black peice of plastic which locates inside the throttle, the little bit of plastic has come away leaving 3 wires exposed. I tried connecting the 3 wires together and placing in the little recess near the throttle but nothing works, I hope I haven't shorted anything by connecting them 3 wires together. Does anyone know if you can buy the complete throttle arrangement which includes the key and led battery readout. Sorry for the long post, I have tried to explain the best I can.

All throtles work on 5v with 3 wires, so shorting those for a short time doesn’t do any harm, though afte a while, you,d blow the 5v regulator.

If your throttle has a swich and batterry indicator, there will be another three wires that all battery voltage, so shorting them is the normal case when the bike is switched on.

It depends which three wires you shorted. If you short thr battery wires to any of thr throttle ones, you kill the controller and the throttle. Show a photo of what you did.
