Hello
I have an Evora electric bike the cuts out after a very short distance.
With the bike on a stand it will run endlessly.
I have tested the brake cut outs with the bike on a bike stand.
It will also move endlessly if walking along side.
The battery seems to hold a charge.
Can any one help.

Those symptoms commonly point to the battery failing, appearing to be ok with little or no load applied but the voltage collapsing as soon as the motor is put under load. If it has a handlebar meter you'll see the charge showing on that disappear as it cuts out, but then return when you stop.

I'm guessing it's few years old since most of the Evoras were sold some while ago, if true that also points to ageing cells in the battery failing as being a likely cause.

You haven't given us enough info about your bike nor how the problem started to diagnose your problem.

If it's one of the folding versions, check that the battery contacts in the fold aren't bent and that they're properly engaging and making good contact.
