The 15th anniversary of the NEC Cycle Show will see Bosch sponsoring an indoor eMTB 300m indoor test track for the first time.

With the ever-increasing interest in eMTBs, the show is using the opportunity to bring in 400 tonnes of earth, a wooden ramp, rock garden and banked corners to construct a track for visitors to test the climbing power and handling of the Cube, Haibike and Trek demo bikes on the eMTB indoor track in Hall 9. Test track rides will be filmed by Go Pro and featured on a big screen overhead.

Over 20 e-bike brands will be exhibiting in this year’s E-Bike Village, to be found in Hall 12, including:

  • Cube
  • Wisper
  • Batribike
  • Momentum
  • A2B
  • Haibike
  • Royal Gazelle
  • Juicy
  • Stealth
  • KTM
  • E-rider
  • Byocycles
  • Roodog
  • Shimano Steps
  • King Meter
  • Cytronex
  • ARCC

I didn't realise 50cycles was a brand...thought they were a retailer.

Plenty of retailers and other cycling-related businesses at the show.

50 Cycles was there last year - showing Kalkhoffs - and is there this year, presumably with some of their other brands as well.

Can't wait for my first time Exhibiting at the NEC (normally I would have just gone as a visitor :))

Hope to see you all at the NEC, we're at stand K145 in the Ebike hall!

We will be showing this monster for the first time in the UK. The all new Delite trekking bike with 1000Wh of capacity for seriously long days on the trails 17Delite_GT_touring.thumb.jpg.acf1124b425140eb2cddaf4701cc140c.jpg .

And seriously sore backsides

Hi Cockers, that's for next year!

By next year do you mean in early 2017 or at the end as a 2018 model. Hoping to get to exhibition so if so see you there.

The eMTB test track at the cycle show

There was a good range of bikes to test.

Each rider got to make 4 or 5 laps.

There was also the 'regular' eBike outdoor test track that had loads of bikes to try - include more eMTB

Any bikes there with the yamaha motor?

Loads.

Having read the hype about that, it looks very poor and disappointing to say the least.

Was it my imagination, or did I spot a Stealth Bomber at the 1.15 point?

If it were, I'm surprised that they have got away with that one.
