Error message motor position fault sensor?

Hi all,
I am stumped i have a scott aspect mtb which i converted with a 1000w voilamart rear wheel motor and 48v battery generic controller which it come with. Now i dropped the bike and ever since it has not worked the batteey is fine still full charge bit when i pedal assist or throttle it just makes a dull thud from back wheel amd comes up motor position sensor fault?
Iv stripped the hub just trying to get past the magnets but no signs of any damaged wires anywhere and the hall sensors havent burnt out well from what i can see?

Test the motor halls electrically to se eif they are toast or not, I have posted tens of times of how to go about it. The forum has asearch facility.

Thanks for your reply i have just noticed when i remobed the hun a few of the copper wires are nicked would this also short the motor?
