Error 30

We have a Dawes surubia the LCD had a problem and stopped working it blew a circuit we have purchased a new one from Dawes but now have a error code 30 the bike works for a few seconds then turns it self off.
We have been told it's a communication error we have checked all connections but it's still doing it. Anyone got any idea what this can be? And how to sort it we have not got a wiring diagram only the manual that came with the bike.

there are 3 components capable of producing error 30, communication error: the controller, the LCD and the cable connecting the LCD to the controller.
All 3 can cause intermittent errors. The only quick way to diagnose is by swapping out.

We are in Devon but thanks for the offer. Need to find a place nearer to check it I think.
