I posted a couple of times during 2012 when I purchased these bikes; used the name NickH but could not log on today, so changed name to NicH. Thought it time to give an update on these inexpensive machines.
Several trips round Europe, bashed around on the back of our camper, parked mainly by the beach, and despite salt and sand the bikes continue to give good service. Daily use during summer months, less so in UK during short days but still ridden most weeks, and the bikes have proved to have been a very good buy. Each machine has needed one replacement battery, two rear and one front tyre and I replaced three rear wheel broken spokes on my bike ( I weigh over 100kgplus panniers!). I have replaced gear inner cables and re-packed wheel and crank bearings and will probably replace the latter this winter together perhaps with the head race bearings.
All in all I reckon unbeatable value and loads of fun.
