Why do you think Sam Allardyce got the job in the first place? There were already a lot of rumours going round that he was linked to corruption. Surely that should have worked against him? It wasn't as if he had a spectacular record of achievement before his appointment. A sceptical person might say that he got the job because he was an expert in the field of extracting money from the system into the pockets of those in his old boys club. What does that say about the people that appointed him?
