Going to buy one, does any one else have one or know anything about them apart from the legal issue? I am totally new to E bikes. Thanks

They look to be decent bikes. Someone on here recently bought one but a full review is pending I think. I really fancied the Endeavour as a regular non-eBike, equipped with the Rohloff 14sp hub gears. I really wish they'd kept them on the eBike version. The bike itself is lovely and if money were no object I'd buy a 14G.

Sadly they didn't keep the Rohloff gears - and almost everyone will claim that you that "you don't need a 14sp hub gear system on an eBike". Perhaps you don't but I bet I would have made good use of them nonetheless. Not everyone rides eBikes effectively under power all the time. I personally won't look at Bosch-motored bikes but a huge contingent of people rate them and that should give you some good indication of their popularity.

Has anyone ever being 'done' for riding one? I had a go of one yesterday & thought it one of the best pedelecs I have ridden to date.

Owned a BS10 for 6 months now, Brilliant bike, without a doubt the best e-bike I tried. Top Tip for you, If you buy one it's probaly best you do not mention it on this site, unless of course like me you like winding up the legion of Victor Meldrews out there. :)

The only evidence I've seen of someone getting done, after extensive searching, were two cases:
One was a guy on a Segway riding on the footpath. The other was someone that had a sit-on scooter that had no pedals. We hear the odd rumour that people are being prosecuted, but those reporting have never put any evidence up. I think some of it from time to time is people scare-mongering. The best solution is to get a restricted legal bike and de-restrict it, because nobody can see, and it's not easy to test. Only if you were involved in a serious accident is there a small chance that someone would think of testing it.

D8veh is right, just depends whether you want to take the risk. As long as people are informed then they can make a decision based on the facts.

Mmm, another thread from a new member about the Endeavour BS10.

I hope it's kosher.
