Hi I am Alex Smith,

I have started the first and only UK eBike coaching company called EMTB coaching.

Here is some of the things we offer.

Have you got an eBike? - EMTB coaching - Courses for all abilities.

Want your friends to test one? - EMTB coaching - Offer this service with a Haibike Sduro with guidance and assistance.

Want to ride with other eBikers? - EMTB coaching - Regular guided rides for free, different locations with conventional cyclists and eBikers.

Many thanks

Alex Smith

Will you be offering counselling for Range Anxiety? Many of us suffer in silence from this distressing affliction.

This is an ebike forum, so your response is daft. Might as well recommend a Honda 90. Anyway there is the dreaded Chain Suck on pedal MTB's equally distressing.

Sorry I hadn't realised that your asking about counselling was a serious comment, and wasn't intended just to be read as a very daft one.

"This is an ebike forum" not a counselling service.

I simply offered the only real alternative that did not necessitate the carrying of a spare battery, which is an aspect that Alex would undoubtedly have covered as good business practice. Other methods for you to consider are, planning routes properly, knowing your terrain, riding to maximise battery saving, understanding battery usage V riding conditions, or simply by getting physically fitter, and again conserving battery use for when it's really required. If this is really distressing you and you feel the need for counselling over it, the best thing would be just to stay at home and not ride at all.

I also hate to be the one to shatter your illusions, but e-mtb's can also suffer from chain suck, so no difference there. Not sure why you would have thought otherwise?

Oh look, Scotch mist.

It looks as though you will just have to enjoy being distressed even further than you already appear to be. Or you could perhaps just lighten up a bit. :)

Quote from the header ' Would all business members please make sure you do not post messages advertising your business/products in the Introductions forum UNLESS the original poster has directly asked a question of you/your product(s).'

Does this mean something different than I read it.?

Watch for my ' Egg sucking for Grannies' course coming soon.
As for your chain suck .I can't look, too painful. On range I know watt the problem is .;)
Next time I'm in Whitesmith I'll buy you a pint.

Stay with 'horsey' friends v near the sawmill thingy. Pub is the one with the lamb hanging from a bracket over towards Glyndebourne. Spend most of my time nosing round Olivers in Brighton. Lovely area, makes me want to move back home to Bladon.
We're messing up young Alex's post. Hope his venture goes well and he can spot a pi$$ take.
