hi all. i have a 180w 36v electric hub motor from a powatryke which i want to have built in to a mountaing bike front wheel.whate`s the best controler to use,hope to use NiMi batteries to save weight,thanks for any help givin.john

Definitely use the original controller John, or if you no longer have it, get a replacement as a spare from www.powabyke.com

There's no problem with using virtually anyone's NiMh battery, since the demands of that 180 watt motor will be easily coped with.
