Electric Motor Problem

Hi. My name is Phil and I live in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire. I bought my Kalkhoff Impulse 20 in 2014 and have covered approximately 600 miles. A couple of years ago I started to notice what I can only describe as "drag" on the electric motor making it hard work to pedal. I did a little research and it appears Kalkhoff changed to a Bosch motor in 2015 due to motor related reliability issues. Kalkhoff later appear to have gone into some sort of administration and do not support any product predating the new company trading as Kalkhoff in the UK. Does anyone on here know of anywhere reasonably local to me who can help or is there anyone who has experienced similar problems? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I doubt anybody local would be able to help. Your best hope is probably these people, otherwise you have to get a replacement motor from Germany an fit it yourself, for about £500.
