That's a good performance..do you use pedal assist at highest power level?My 20 amp hour Ping is good for 45 miles, that's on a heavy bike, carrying over 100Kgs of me at high speed over a hilly commute. I woudn't buy so much capacity again.
Mounted on a box on rear carrier. Unwieldy when mounting but fine on the move.
Only have one power level and no pedal assist - just a throttle. I agree with what you say, I bought the big battery as I wanted it to cover my round trip commute of 32 miles on one charge and factor in some degradation. Two years later and I'm planning a new bike with two 8/9 amp hour bottle batteries. I always say unless you need the capacity for distance/speed or hill climbing don't waste money and add on unnecessary weight with big batteries.. .
