99.9 percent of motorised bikes here are electric! No pedelecs. I've counted 2 internal combustion engines on bikes. The segregated lane infrastructure is actually pretty good. No one wears high viz and helmets look rare. At night not many have lights on...but strangely it all feels very safe. There doesn't seem to be quite the righteousness. To the road that cyclist and car s have in Europe and us. I saw one collision with a pedestrian and that was in daylight at a busy market place where two carries were in the same place at the same time. The hire scheme bikes are shaft drive, robust but built much lighter than ken Livingstone's London bikes. Food is awesome too.
