"The home secretary blocks plans by the English Defence League (EDL) to march through five of London's boroughs next month."
That's interesting. I wonder if she'd have come to the same decision if it had been a march of fundamentalist muslims pursuing their ambition of creating Sharia law in certain enclaves of the UK?
I'm not a fan, (of the EDL) but government policy seems less than fair and equitable when it comes to these potential public order issues.
